Since October 2017, the Java Vérité theater company has captivated the public with its performance of “Le Menteur” by Pierre Corneille, directed by the talented Julia Vidit. But it’s not just the acting that shines on stage, it’s also the scenography and decor that add a spectacular visual dimension to this classic play.
Like Mirror is proud to be the partner of this theatrical production, bringing a touch of magic through the use of our mirror panels. These panels are not simply decorative elements, they are silent actors that contribute to the atmosphere and narrative of the piece.
Mirrors, with their ability to reflect light, create optical illusions and give the impression of infinite spaces, have become a key element of scenography. They accentuate the mystery, deception and multiple facets of the central character, the liar.
When the actors interact with the mirrors, it adds a fascinating dimension to the performances. The reflections and the play of light create a captivating atmosphere, reinforcing the dramatic effect of each scene. Mirrors become an integral part of the plot, reflecting not only faces, but also emotions and lies.
It is this marriage between classical theater and the modernity of mirrors that makes this production so memorable. The Liar, a timeless piece, finds new life through the innovative use of our mirror technology. This collaboration between Java Vérité and Like Mirror shows how traditional art can be revitalized and magnified by contemporary creativity.
