To celebrate 40 years of innovation, beauty and brand storytelling, L’Oréal Paris took over Hôtel Potocki with an immersive exhibition designed by Venise Évènements. A scenographic journey ending in a fully pink environment, conceived as a living retrospective blending heritage, icons, new product lines and experiential installations.
At the heart of this setup, Like Mirror was commissioned to install one of our latest technical developments: the Stretched Pink Mirror, a new shade now added to our collection of coloured mirrors.
The final part of this L’Oréal Paris event took place in a space entirely dressed in pink: walls, modules, furniture, signage and lighting, where visitors could test the brand’s new product ranges in real time. It was essential for the mirror surface to integrate seamlessly into this immersive chromatic environment without disrupting the pink aesthetic.
The Stretched Pink Mirror quickly proved to be the ideal solution: a delicate petal-pink tone, perfectly aligned with the exhibition’s colour palette; a perfectly stretched surface that captures and reflects the pink lighting of the decor; a clean, even reflection allowing visitors to see themselves, photograph the space and interact with the installations; an ultra-light solution suited to the technical constraints of an indoor temporary event.
Across all zones—product stations, immersive modules, selfie areas, historical displays—the mirror played a key role: highlighting packaging through layered reflections; offering natural photo spots, widely used by influencers and guests; creating visual depth in spaces that were sometimes dense; supporting the architecture with a mirror surface that blends in while revealing its nuances.
Visitors naturally used these surfaces to take photos, record their experience or capture the pink lighting effects that shaped the entire installation.
The Stretched Pink Mirror is part of the new materials developed by Like Mirror to offer designers, architects and agencies a richer chromatic palette. This shade meets the growing demand for: immersive retail and pop-ups, event scenography, strong brand identities, artistic installations and concept stores, highly visual spaces designed for photo and digital content.
This L’Oréal Paris project perfectly demonstrates its relevance: a coloured mirror capable of supporting a fully monochrome atmosphere while adding a striking architectural element.
