As part of the transformation of the new professional space designed by Bleu Menthe Production for Factory, Like Mirror was asked to install a large stretched mirror circle on the ceiling of the reception point. This intervention is fully aligned with Factory’s global design philosophy, focused on multisensory experience, immersive environments, hybrid spaces and user-centric design.
The reception area of Factory — the « Center of Gravity » — becomes a strong visual transition zone. The suspended stretched mirror circle makes it possible to expand the perspective by reflecting natural light and visually opening up the volume, to visually connect the dominant materials — wooden parquet, glass partitions and contemporary furniture — and to create a living focal point that captures attention, invites observation and encourages pause. The installation transforms the entrance into a true experiential moment, where architecture and design work hand in hand.
The installation of the large stretched mirror circle was custom-made to meet the specific requirements of the Factory project. The ultra-lightweight surface is suitable for ceiling constraints. The glass-free design ensures optimal safety in a high-traffic workspace. Perfect tension delivers a smooth and homogeneous reflection even at large scale. The integration is fully aligned with the global design direction defined by Bleu Menthe Production and Factory, experts in experience design, architectural concept and furniture and decoration. The mirror installation is not merely decorative: it fits seamlessly into Factory’s Workplace logic, combining design, function and innovation.
A key ambition of the Factory environment is to deliver an elevated user experience. In this context, the stretched mirror plays a decisive role. It enhances how the space is used — reception, circulation, interactions. It enables spontaneous photography of the area thanks to its strategic reflective position. It adds visual depth to structured spaces sometimes dense with furniture. It supports the contemporary design language, embedding the space into a work-destination logic. The mirror becomes a narrative element — a design and communication tool within a reimagined professional environment.
The success of the project relies on the synergy between Bleu Menthe Production, in charge of artistic direction and scenography, Factory, defining the workplace vision and final user experience, and Like Mirror, providing and installing the stretched mirror as a distinctive architectural feature. This collaboration allowed the team to visually structure the reception, create a signature focal point, and enhance the photographic and visual dimension of the space.
The Factory project demonstrates that a stretched mirror goes far beyond decorative intent: it becomes a key component of workplace identity. The large suspended mirror circle asserts a strong presence, expands perception, enriches the experience and anchors the environment in a contemporary, functional and remarkable architectural expression.
