From March 7 to 10, 2025, the 2nd edition of the MATTER and SHAPE exhibition took place in the Tuileries Gardens, bringing together design and architectural talents in a prestigious setting. For this major event, Like Mirror collaborated with WSN Développement and the Perron-Roettinger design studio to create a double Ivory Black Stretched Mirror facade, a unique installation that impressed visitors with its sophisticated aesthetic and captivating reflections.
Designed by Willo Perron of the Perron-Roettinger studio, the structure of the pavilions was designed to combine modernism and contemporary elegance. The integration of the Ivory Black Stretched Mirror by Like Mirror into this architecture created a play of deep, dark reflections that react strikingly to the ambient light.
Under certain lighting conditions, the black mirrors reflect pink, purple, or even orange glows, giving an almost kinetic impression to the structures and amplifying the pavilions’ presence in the landscape of the Tuileries Gardens.
The Ivory Black Stretched Mirror is one of the colors in the Like Mirror Stretched Mirror range, designed to offer a subtle reflection and unique visual depth. This technological innovation offers several advantages:
Thanks to this mirrored façade, the MATTER and SHAPE show benefited from a distinctive and original architectural element, reinforcing its visual identity and its mission to celebrate design culture in all its forms.
Since its inception, the MATTER and SHAPE show has established itself as a leading international event for creators, designers, and architects. Led by WSN Développement, this event explores new design trends, showcasing innovative brands, studios, and artisans in striking displays.
The 2025 edition doubled its number of exhibitors and spread across several spaces, between the Tuileries and Concorde pavilions. This expansion reflects the show’s growth and its ambition to expand beyond Paris. Like Mirror: The Art of Mirrors in the Service of Design
