SHINE AND DISAPPEAR EXHIBITION / THE SHOW OF A FIRE – BRUNO PEINADO – MIRROR PANEL

In 2020, Le Shed, the Normandy contemporary art center in Rouen, offered its visitors the opportunity to discover the work of Bruno Peinado in an immersive in situ installation.

In this former factory of candle wicks, the exhibition summoned the paradox of the permanence of our fascination for impermanence and in particular that of light, whether it comes from the stars, an impression of the rising sun or the spectacle of ‘a fire.

Thanks to the Like Mirror mirror panel, “Shining and disappearing / The spectacle of a fire” worked on small parts of light in a darkened era in order to bring them within our reach, to better reflect and amplify them through mirror games.
