The Emperor’s Canot, a superb boat built by the decision of Napoleon I in 1810, joined the Ateliers des Capucins in Brest after restoration work.
A major piece of the collections of the National Maritime Museum, it is displayed in majesty in front of the entrance to “70.8”, the future Brest Center of Maritime Excellence.
The new scenography imagined by the Leconte-Noirot Agency adds a Mirror to the ceiling Like Mirror which highlights parts previously invisible to the public and allows them to observe the canoe in its entirety.
