Located in the heart of the city of Spa, the Bains de Spa Clarins embody a contemporary vision of well-being, where architecture, materials and sensations engage in subtle dialogue. In this iconic venue, Like Mirror delivers a new project with the installation of a Frozen Silver mirror ceiling, designed to enrich the sensory experience while meeting the technical demands of a humid environment.
Spa environments impose high requirements in terms of safety, durability and moisture resistance. For this project, Like Mirror implemented a Frozen Silver stretch mirror with a specific protective finish, perfectly suited to hygrometric variations. Glass-free and ultra-lightweight, the mirror ensures a safe ceiling installation while providing lasting visual stability. This solution allows the mirror to be integrated into sensitive areas such as pool surrounds, without any compromise on aesthetic or technical quality.
Unlike a perfectly smooth mirror, the Frozen Silver finish offers a subtly textured surface. The reflection becomes more diffuse, slightly frosted, almost mineral in feel. Light fragments and spreads, following the movements of water and visitors alike. Within the architecture of the Bains de Spa Clarins, this effect deepens the sense of calm, depth and suspended time. The mirror ceiling extends the lines of the pool, accentuates perspectives and wraps the space in a soothing and immersive atmosphere.
The project was conceived and delivered by Amyot Interiors Design, with particular attention paid to the balance between material, light and use.
