On January 28, 2025 , Chanel unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture collection during a grand show at the Grand Palais . This exceptional event featured spectacular set design by Perron-Roettinger , where Like Mirror played its part by creating a structure of stretched silver mirrors , concealing the backstage and technical areas of the show.
In this majestic setting, the Perron-Roettinger design studio conceived a minimalist yet striking scenography, incorporating Chanel’s iconic double C at the center of the catwalk. This infinity -shaped backdrop symbolized the continuity and timeless elegance of the house.
To perfect this illusion and preserve the purity of the show, Like Mirror , in collaboration with Europexpo , designed and installed a silver stretched mirror structure to conceal the backstage and technical areas . Thanks to this reflective covering, these spaces visually disappeared , blending into the architecture of the Grand Palais and allowing spectators to enjoy an experience focused solely on Chanel’s creations.
The challenge of this installation lay in the need to create a perfect illusion while ensuring a quick and secure setup suited to the demands of haute couture events. The Like Mirror silver stretched mirror achieved these objectives thanks to its unique characteristics:
To celebrate 110 years of Chanel Haute Couture , the collection showcased silhouettes imbued with femininity and refinement , blending the house’s classic elements— tweed, lace, floral motifs, and pastel colors —within a delicate and structured framework. This thoughtful staging, where each element seemed suspended in time, offered a moment of pure grace, accentuated by the infinite reflection effect of the Like Mirror set design .
This collaboration between Perron-Roettinger, Europexpo, and Like Mirror demonstrates how design and technology can serve fashion , thanks to a scenography that elevates each runway show. The Like Mirror silver tensioned mirror thus establishes itself as a key element of prestigious events, offering innovative solutions to transform space and enrich the visual experience.
We are proud to have contributed to this iconic Paris Fashion Week event and to continue our commitment to the biggest luxury houses to offer architectural and scenographic solutions that match their creativity.
